I have been getting a lot of hate lately because I praise Solemn Scolding as the best Trap card, best Solemn card ever made. I want to make some key points on why I feel this should be at stapple level. Then explain why it is not.
Cost
Yes it is true Solemn Scolding does cost 3000 Life Points, most people play 1 Solemn Warning, 3 Solemn Strike which cost 500 more Life Points.
Only set card
The fact is you will not need any other set Spell/Trap cards, you are negating ANYTHING your opponent ...
